MySQL DBA – London - £200-250 – MySQL, Financial, Investment

Cornucopia are working with a Global Blue-Chip Software Provider to the Investment / Financial Services market who have an immediate requirement for a MySQL Database Administrator to join their London team. The MySQL Database Administrator will be involved in market data acquisition and engineering. The successful applicant will have responsibility for our client’s administration and support of major databases and long-term re-engineering of the daily data process.

The MySQL Database Administrator will ideally have experience within the Investment Banking / Financial Services industry in a position of responsibility for highly-criticality web-based business. It is necessary to have experience of database administration in an ASP environment as our client’s product is an ASP service. This is a commercially critical database and so a really pragmatic approach along with experience improving and systematising databases.

This position allows the opportunity for the MySQL Database Administrator to join a market leading Global Blue-Chip Software company in an exciting industry.

This will be a 3 month contract with a real likelihood of extension.
